Peripherals: 2x 8 Bit / 4x 16 Bit Timer with PWM/Capture/Compare, 16ch. Digging through mine and my housemates’ hobby electronics piles for plausible ISP programming hardware, we came up with a very old Sparkfun Bus Pirate and an Arduino Mega 2560.Interfaces: 4xUSART, SPI, I2C/TWI, 86x IO Pins.ATmega2560 (256k Flash, 8k SRAM, 4k EEPROM).You can find further information in the Infosheet. Additionally the Crumbuino-Mega provides RS232 and RS485 interfaces, which are disabled by default, so that the IO pins can be used for other purposes. Main differences to the Arduino Mega 2560 is a different pinout, no 5V regulator (the Crumbuino-Mega can be supplied through USB) and the status LED is connected to a different pin. Alternatively is can be used as Arduino Mega 2560 board, hence lacking some GPIOs since the original Arduino Mega does not expose all ATmega2560 GPIOs.
